About

I'm passionate about art that invites interpretation, where each viewer's perspective can vary dramatically. My artistic journey began with sketching and cartoons, heavily influenced by the humor of comic strips like The Far Side, shows like The Simpsons, Monty Python, and Blackadder that left a lasting imprint during my formative years. Not only did my artwork bring joy to my family and friends, but it also had the power to evoke laughter.

My creative process seldom follows a rigid plan. While I may enter a project with a colour palette or source of inspiration in mind, my paintings ultimately become a tangible record of moments, emotions, and movements in time. My work offers a momentary escape, allowing me to capture the essence of a particular experience without the constraints of predefined formats or templates. Painting, for me, is pure expression—a journey embarked upon without expectations, where each stroke tells a unique story.
